It's All God

We had a good time this weekend re-uniting with Jim's high school class--go, Grand Coulee Raiders, class of '92!  It's hard to wrap my mind around 20 years, but, yes, I suppose that makes sense.  We've been fantastically married for 16.

Lots of stories have happened in the last 20 years.  As people have been living their lives, they've made some good choices, some bad choices.  Some haven't lived through their choices.  We've all grown up enough to be able to start to look back, and to, hopefully, look with some perspective.

When I look at Jim's life, I'm really proud of him.  He's handsome, healthy, happy.  He's moving forward with greater momentum all the time; he's figuring out who he is and who he wants to be.  But the real key is God's work in his life.  He absolutely wouldn't be who he is without following God's plan for him.  (It's rather pleasant for me to be part of his life, and I'm here because God told me to marry him!)

All of the good, for me and for him, is because of God.  We've spent the last 20 years following Jesus and getting to know Him better and that's the best use of 20 years we could possibly have made.
