Festival #1: Sacajawea

Here are a few pictures from last weekend's festival.  We were in the Tri-Cities, WA for the Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival.  The location was awesome, held at the Sacajawea State Park, right at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers.  The park had a museum, swimming area, docks for watching tugs and barges go by, and TREES.  Without the trees and grass it would have been pretty hot--the Tri-Cities area is more like Grand Junction, CO than Washington.

Micaiah, Teran, and Allegra participated in the kids' workshop, which culminated in the whole group being on stage.  Micaiah and Teran can be seen in this group, but Allegra felt better being more toward the back.

Thanks, Grandpa and Grandma for finding us the perfect picnic table!  What a great addition to our camp site!

Happy baby camper!  (And happy Mama camper because baby isn't eating who-knows-what off of the ground!)

It was generally agreed that these two kids had the best seat in the house.

Future plans?  Well, in a few hours we take off for the next festival, the Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival in Cashmere, WA.  The band plays 3 times and the kids' workshop here is a 2 day event.  Should be fun!
